A New Banjo Player

Red Henry

Folks, I'm writing this from Nashville, Tennessee. Murphy and I are over here for a few days to visit with Casey and her brand-new son, Dalton Whitfield Henry.

Of course this means that Murphy and I are having a great time seeing Casey and the baby. But it also means that nobody's at home right now, sending out DVDs! But keep on placing your orders, because I should be back at work on Monday, sending them out. Till them, play a tune for little Dalton.

About Red Henry

Began playing mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and banjo in 1967-69. I married Murphy in 1974. We led the Red & Murphy bluegrass band, playing professionally, from 1975-87. Since then I've handled the technical side of Murphy Method cassette, videotape, and DVD production. When you call I usually answer the phone, and I'm normally the one who sends out the orders.

Congratulations Granma and Grandpa and well done Casey. I am sure with all those good vibrations during your pregnancy this little fella be a whiz on the old banjo.

They sure grow up fast these day’s my youngest two grandaughters just started school last week. It only seems like yesterday I had them cradled in my arms.

What a wonderful addition to the Henry family!!!! I imagine the first few nights have been a challenge , but, everything smoothes out eventually. I agree that the years slip by so fast, that this wonderful new boy will be a man only too soon. How lucky he is to have such a loving family.
